The key to the success of our outsourcing services lies in hiring only the best people available and for this reason we put a lot of effort into our recruiting process. As a company we use a Performance Based Recruiting Method which involves drafting comprehensive job descriptions to properly detail the requirements of each outsourcing position, and a comprehensive interviewing process backup by technical tests and reference checking. In addition to recruiting the right candidates, one of the best and most rewarding methods for finding the right people is to develop the people we have internally. As a company we put a lot of emphasis on employee retention and training, as in the long run this helps us achieve the high performance we demand, and gives us the ability to adapt and respond to our customers’ needs.

Case Study

IT Staffing & Consulting

In 2015, EIRE Systems took over the in-country, deskside support for a large US pharmaceutical company, providing all Level 2 user support as well as related projects and infrastructure support, from an incumbent vendor. This assignment required EIRE Systems to recruit twenty (20) IT staff members, including:

  • Operations Manager – to oversee the delivery of the service to the end client.
  • Infrastructure engineers – to assist in-country and overseas infrastructure (server and network) teams for resolution of server and network related issues, as well as acting in a smart hands capacity.
  • Deskside Level 2 Support Engineers – to provide onsite and remote level support to approximately 5,000 users across Japan.
  • Depot Support Engineers – to support hardware kitting and dispatch, as well as support of users in a manufacturing facility.
  • Project Managers – to coordinate and execute technology rollouts, office restacks and upgrades, and hardware refresh projects.

All resources were recruited by EIRE Systems’ internal recruiting team. Prior to starting onsite EIRE Systems Transition Management Team prepared training material and training courses, and managed the transition from an existing support vendor to the new support team. This transition was successfully completed over a three (3) month period, using a transition process broken into four (4) main steps:

  1. Knowledge Acquisition.
  2. Shadowing of existing resources.
  3. Reverse shadowing of existing resources.
  4.  Assumption of delivery of support SLA.
